Pre-Teen Heartthrob Headlines At Fresno Tower Theater
Fresno, CA February 4, 2004--Mishon, one of the most talked about new artists in Los Angeles will headline the marquee of the famous Fresno Tower Theater, Saturday, February 7, 2004 at 5:00 PM.
Mishon, a native of Los Angeles, has a voice reminiscent of a young Michael Jackson. At merely three years of age, he began working vehemently to overcome his little boy shyness in order to nurture his talent in preparation for what was to come- center stage. Auditioning and being selected to perform in school choirs, it was not long before the child performer gained recognition for his talent, gaining standout solos for his chorales.
Paralleling an early version of the pop icon, Mishon's performances at Showtime at the Apollo Kids Talent Search in Los Angeles 2002, Steve Harvey's Apollo West in Los Angeles 2003 and NBC's America's Most Talented Kid, led crowds to its feet on every occasion. Only the obvious was to transpire…
Mishon's self-titled album is released by the Las Vegas based Dynasty Records. The album showcases the now pre-teen's precocious range, voice control and harmony with uplifting relatable lyrics loved by music lovers of all ages.
On the single, "Still Mishon", the stage is set for a musical journey that transcends listeners to a period of youthful innocence and light-hearted fun. Clearly, the party is on! The young heartthrob ingeniously lifts popular hip-hop hooks to say, "in the back of the class is where you find me…"which is be fitting the animated track.
Other album highlights are "Perfect Place" where Mishon invites listeners to "go with me to a place where everyone's happy; there's nothing but peace; where you never grow old and you're free of disease; where nobody will starve where there's food on your plate…" and the melodic "All Alone" where Mishon demonstrates a surprisingly soulful depth.
The Fresno Tower Theater now adds to its majestic architectural fame in Central California as the arena Mishon metamorphosis from pre-teen into adult-hood with a successful recording career.
